My mother's family came from Biblis, Germany, so while I was over in Germany, I took a drive down to see the quaint old town. It's now a modern city. The cornerstone from the old Rathaus (City Hall) dated 1550 was in front of a new, very modern Rathaus, shown below.
There were a few old buildings around the church, but for the most part Biblis is now a small modern community.
When I left town heading West, I passed a very large electricity generating plant, so I believe that this plant has helped modernize Biblis.
