After a late lunch at the Louvre cafeteria, we made our way up Avenue Des Champs- élysées to the Arc dé Triomphe. As we waited in line to go up to the top, I wondered why all the cars were not wrecked. The traffic circle around the Arc was bedlam - cars cutting in and out of the circle, with no apparent regard for the other vehicles doing the very same thing.

By the time we got back to the hotel, we were weary from walking, but excited by the sights we had seen.
